Outdoors Winter Exploration Camp at Smith Memorial Playground
December 26-27, 30-31 and January 2-3 | 8am-4pm
Children age 3-10 (fully potty trained)
$60 per day ($50 per day for Smith members)
Playing outdoors in winter promotes physical development and well-being. Also, engaging children outdoors in the colder months as well as the warmer ones helps them learn about the seasons and the natural cycles of plants and animals. To share all the benefits of play year-round, Smith is hosting an outdoor drop-off day camp for children age 3-10 (must be fully potty trained) to play outside and explore nature through songs, games, stories, walks, and more!
Please note:
- Caregivers may sign up for one or multiple days of camp. Smith members get a $10 discount per day.
- This is a fully outdoor camp, however children will have access to a heated tent to warm up in periodically throughout the day. Due to long-term renovations to our historic Playhouse, there will be no indoor access.
- All children must be fully potty trained and will be using portapotties with assistance from our staff.
- Smith will not provide food. Caregivers are responsible for packing a drink, lunch, and 2 snacks for their child(ren).
- There will be a late pick up charge of $5.00 per 15 minutes.
