We are so bummed that the weather forecast calls for heavy rain tomorrow and on our back-up date of Sunday in the afternoon. Safety comes first, and we cannot open the Playground in the rain. This year's Play-A-Palooza is cancelled, and we will be issuing refunds for any tickets purchased. Please allow 2-3 business days for funds to reappear in your account.
The good news is that Tuesday, April 1st marks the beginning of Playground season, and the forecast calls for 65 degrees! We hope to see you out on the Playground next week to begin a long season of play.
Kids 10 and younger and caregivers are invited to Smith's Seasonal Grand Playground Opening party, Play-A-Palooza. Join us for 6 1/2 acres of play, crafts from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, games from Playworks, hands-on science from The Franklin Institute, activities from Arden Theatre Company, a mobile farm from Greener Partners and the Junior League of Philadelphia, soccer activities from Soccer Shots, building challenges from Sticklets, drinks from Honest Tea, treats, and more fun on the 6 1/2 acre Playground.
